Introducing our board of experts

Breaking Pregnancy Taboos recently hit a milestone with the creation of our advisory board. We are proud to introduce the first four advisory board members, each one having shown a keen interest or expertise in the field of pregnancy and medication.

We welcome

Dr-Frederic-AmantDr. Frédéric Amant, Head of Gynecologic Oncology at the University of Leuven;

Dr-Aparna-KamatDr. Aparna Kamat, an Obstetrician-Gynecologist in Houston, Texas;

Dr-Paul-EmeryDr. Paul Emery, the Arthritis Research UK Professor of Rheumatology and Head of the Academic Division of Musculoskeletal Disease at the University of Leeds;

Dr-Tea-CollinsDr. Téa Collins of the World Medical Association.

We are also hoping to welcome a member from the Drug Information Association soon.

This is a key development for us as well as an important step in building the coalition against the taboos we’re fighting. The board will help guide the project forward, connect with more experts and organizations around the globe, and establish more credibility in the medical community.

The first meeting of the board is due to take place within weeks. We look forward to working with such talented experts and hope to welcome more specialists in the near future.
