The Pregnancy Health Map is a global and interactive platform dedicated to connecting patients and healthcare professionals interested in the management of pregnancy in conjunction with diseases and medical disorders such as cancer, epilepsy, diabetes, heart disease, inflammatory diseases, and more. We invite patients, healthcare providers, patient groups, and organizations to join us in building this online community.
Families and the doctors treating them are often not sufficiently aware of the risks and benefits linked to medical treatments or medicines during pregnancy. When information is available, it is often not easily accessible. As a consequence, many physicians will recommend averting potential risk by interrupting treatment or avoiding pregnancy altogether.
